In this project, we provided end-to-end services for everything from transporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment from outside Japan to its installation and assembly in a factory in Japan.
We transported the equipment from its manufacturer in another country to the nearest airport, then via charter plane to Japan, and from there across Japan up to installation and assembly in a clean room. The NX Group can offer this service thanks to our global network and diverse means of transportation.
Key Project Details and Requirements
1. Fully customized transportation plan
Our client's conditionss and requirements called for getting the equipment operational as quickly as possible, while also posing strict limitations on control values for shock, vibration, temperature, and moisture levels. We conferred in detail on each mode of transportation used, arriving at a fully customized and optimized way of meeting their needs.
2. Technical and planning skills developed through extensive experience
The limitations on transportation for this project were more severe than usual for semiconductor equipment, requiring us to improve our vehicle air suspensions against shock and vibration, and we also selected optimized routes via test drives using measuring equipment.
We also developed special vehicles with air-conditioning and roofs that open and close, in order to keep contact with the outside air to a minimum for temperature and humidity management.
