NX Engineering's predecessor, the Heavy Haulage and Construction Business Division of Nippon Express Co., LTD., owned numerous unique vehicles, equipment, and tools, using advanced technologies and skilled management to provide integrated transportation from sea to land, customs clearance, and installation services for heavy equipment. We have experience supporting infrastructure maintenance projects alongside customers in a diverse range of industries all over the world, extending from Japan's postwar reconstruction era into its era of rapid growth, then onward into the present era of globalization.
Building on this trust and experience, we aim to continue providing superior services to ever-higher standards in the future.

Nippon Express Co., LTD. Heavy Haulage and Construction Group founded in Land Transportation Department
1959
First transportation project using 300-ton trailers
Developed 300-ton capacity oversized garter-style trailers, the first Japanese transportation systems capable of moving ultra-heavy equipment. Designed to operate in back-to-back format with tractors at the front and back.
1961
Introduced 210-ton capacity schnable trailers
First application of the schnable front-and-back load support system for trailers, referencing the"Shiki 160" type heavy capacity flatcar design.
1964
Tokyo Monorail railway erection work

Implementation of the 0 Series Shinkansen transportation

1969
Self-propelled 400-ton capacity dolly introduced for the first time in the country.
Developed Japan's first multi-axle dolly with hydraulic suspension and drive and utilized it for primary equipment transportation for petrochemical plants.
1970
Transportation for Japan World Exposition (Osaka)
We stationed a heavy haulage and construction representative in the Expo offices, planned the transportation of heavy exhibits and tools and equipment for setup, and performed work for the project. Photograph shows Apollo spacecraft assembly for the US Pavilion.
1971
Introduced 500-ton capacity trailers
Our 500-ton capacity trailers can also be used as 250- or 300-ton capacity trailers, and in garter or schnable configurations (only garter configurations available for 500-ton capacity trailers). These trailers were produced to transport increasingly larger and heavier electrical transformers without disassembly.

Transportation for Expo 2005 in Aichi
The Yukagir Mammoth discovered in Arctic Siberia was exhibited in the main pavilion at Expo 2005 in Aichi, Japan.
This marked the first time in the world that a frozen mammoth left Russian soil. In order to come up with a successful method of transportation, our heavy haulage and construction representatives worked together with Professor Naoki Suzuki of the Tokyo Jikei University School of Medicine.

In light of our record, we were involved in construction planning and assembly work for the large wooden Grand Ring structure for the Expo.
In addition to assembly work, we also carried out the collection of wood from all across Japan, storage management of components in a warehouse , wood processing, and secondary transportation to the site.
