NX Engineering Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasuo Miyazaki; hereinafter, the “NX”) has switched the fuel used by all six forklifts involved in loading and unloading operations at its Narashino Base of the Kanto Branch (Narashino City, Chiba Prefecture) to B5 biofuel as part of its environmental initiatives toward achieving a decarbonized society.
The base uses an average of approximately 500 liters of diesel fuel per month for forklifts and generators. Through this initiative, the Company expects to continuously reduce CO₂ emissions associated with fuel consumption by approximately 5%.
NX will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by reducing its environmental impact while maintaining its business operations.
