Construction
The Nippon Express Heavy Haulage and Construction Business Division, the predecessor of NX Engineering, has supported the infrastructure business for a variety of Japanese industries and clients from shortly after the Second World War up to the present.
Shinkansen carriages, electrical transformers, national expos, outer space development equipment, massive telescopes, wind power equipment, and more... We funnel the experience and record from all forms of "transportation, installation, and assembly" over the years into our next project every time, continuing our support for customer business even now.
Organization
NX Engineering encompasses a number of other organizations which we coordinate across.
Our unified, one-stop on-site team for everything from heavy cargo transporting to installation, our corporate teams at various sites across Japan, and the NIPPON EXPRESS Group as a whole that coordinates all of our various shipping, logistics, real estate and data systems for group companies. The organizational capacity to maximize the synergies of our fellow organizations is another of NX Engineering's strengths.
NX Engineering's Journey
In 1941, NIPPON EXPRESS founded the terrestrial heavy cargo department of what would later go on to become NX Engineering.
In 1969, the group imported self-propelled 400-ton dollies dubbed "a revolution in heavy cargo transport," then in 2003 secured a patent for the "upright blade transport system" used to transport wind power blades up to 40 meters in size in diagonal or rotated positions. These are just some of our equipment available for work on a scale no one else can manage.
Furthermore, in 1990, we founded Nippon Express Engineering (Thailand), followed by Nippon Express Engineering (Vietnam) in 2014 and NEX Global Engineering in Singapore in 2016, all as parts of the active role we play outside of Japan.
